WTC Game 2 Denmark Jotunheim

So game two against the second (?) team of Denmark. The matchup process happens and we have 4 people on our team that don't want to face Retribution and me. So yeah. This is my spot in the team. The retribution killer. So I engineer a situation where they can't jump on me if the Retribution player doesn't pick me. So the Retribution player has to pick me. So they can try to jump on our other player instead.

Looking at these lists I felt like it was once again a situation where I kinda want to drop Abby2 against the Helynna list but he might drop Ossyan. So Vayl2 is the safer choice. Not that Vayl2 is bad against Helynna. Just Abby2 is my sledgehammer.

I once again won the roll and immediately decide to go first.

My first turn I unpack my army and put a deadly storm into the model I think is Disco. Apparently it was a Manticore so yeah. Pro Playa Torbjörn Move. The important thing is to move up far enough that he can't threaten the Maw without feating. 

In his turn he walks up put up covering fire and reform his brick forward and Feat. I am extremely tempted to go for his caster. Camping one with Deceleration. The AA would throw the carnivean at his jack knocking them both down. I would get feat, Seraph and NBT into her. A decent odds assassination. Not something you go for when you are in a good matchup. I was really tempted though.

So instead I just put up occultation on the carnivean and AA+Seraph+Naga shot his arcnode of the table. In its tries to get into cover it had accidentally gotten out of control. The carnivean walk to the corner of the zone and put up spiny growth. Then I passed the turn.

In his turn he walks up and tries to kill the Maw and well that does not work. Then he uses Rhythm to back off.

So in my turn I do one of the most casually cruel things I did all WTC. I stick admonition on the carnivean. Hit his Manticore in the zone with Deadly storm then the carnivean wrecks it. AA+Seraph+Naga kills a lot of Sents.

In his turn he takes his Vengeance moves and charge the carnivean. It uses Admonition, gets behind the cloud and he is more or less fucked. It looks like this:

So he tries to go for a throw on carnivean and kill the objective for a scenario play. Both fail and I mop the situation up. Turn after his caster kills the objective and then AA eat her.

Win on casterkill/scenario as I go to 5-0 when I kill Helynna.
